I’m looking for a West Indian writer/sensitivity reader/researcher who can assist me with my first novel. The novel is set in the 19th century, and is based on a character by Charles Dickens. The writer will assist in researching the English slave trade in the West Indies, possibly writing a character into the novel, and helping me with a sensitivity read throughout. If it all works out, the writer will receive “with” or shared byline credit, an hourly stipend while we work on the novel, and a share of the proceeds once the novel is finished.
